Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information PBS Facility Services LLC, doing business as PBS Maintenance (“PBS”, “we”, “us”) collects through this website and the PBS Maintenance web app at maintenance.pbsny.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our clients, the contractors and technicians who do work for us, and anyone else with a login to the app.

What we collect

• Contact details — your name, company, email address and, if you give it to us, your mobile phone number.
• Job and location information — the service requests, work orders, store and site addresses, schedules, photos, notes, quotes and invoices that pass through the app.
• Account information — your login, your role, and your notification and text-message preferences, including when you opted in or out.
• Technical information — basic records our servers keep when you use the app, such as sign-in times, so we can keep accounts secure.

Why we use it

We use this information only to run our maintenance service, including to:

• send and manage service requests, job awards and assignments;
• send schedule and job updates and account notices by email, and by text message if you opted in;
• verify contractor and technician accounts and keep the app secure;
• invoice, pay and keep the records our business requires; and
• answer your questions and requests for help.

We do not send marketing text messages.

Text messaging

If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile number only to send PBS Maintenance job alerts as described in our Text Messaging Terms. You can reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the service: between PBS and the clients, contractors and technicians working on the same job; with service providers that host the app and deliver our email and text messages for us, who may use it only for that purpose; and when the law requires it. The text-messaging limits above apply in every case.

How long we keep it and how we protect it

We keep information for as long as your account is active and as long afterwards as we need it for job records, billing and legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted connections and access limited to the people who need it, to protect it.

Your choices

• Change your text-message preference any time in your profile, or reply STOP to any text.
• Ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
