# Text Messaging Terms — PBS Maintenance

These terms cover the PBS Maintenance job alerts text messages sent by PBS Facility Services LLC, doing business as PBS Maintenance ("PBS", "we", "us") from the PBS Maintenance web app at maintenance.pbsny.com.

## What we text, and to whom
We text the clients and contractors who work with PBS, their technicians, store staff and other app users — only those who opted in to texts for their own mobile number. Messages are about the work, for example:

- new service requests;
- job awards and assignments;
- work order, schedule and job updates;
- messages from the PBS team, and our replies when you text us; and
- account notices, such as sign-up and onboarding steps.

You can reply to our texts. Your reply reaches the PBS team in the PBS Maintenance app, and we may answer by text.

We do not send marketing or promotional texts. Every message starts with "PBS Maintenance:".

## How you opt in
You opt in by ticking the text-message box when you set up your account in the app or in your profile, or by telling PBS or your company that you agree to receive these texts at your number. The box is never pre-ticked.

This is what the opt-in looks like in the app:

Reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting that number; you may get one final message confirming it. You can also turn texts off in your profile. To start again, reply START or turn texts back on in your profile.

## Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

## Consent is optional
Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of working with PBS. Email notifications continue whether or not you get texts.

## Privacy
How we handle your mobile number and other information is explained in our Privacy Policy. We do not share your mobile number or text-message opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
